\nDNA Mutagens?<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Most of our DNA is non-coding and thus useful for research by other disciplines and further consciousness expansion<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Non-coding DNA is split into 2 groups:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. LINE (Long Interspersed Nuclear Element)<\/span>. LINE repetitive DNA is about 6500 base-Twins long<\/span> and is dispersed throughout the Human Genome.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. SINE (Short Interspersed Nuclear Element)<\/span>. SINE repetitive DNA is only 150 to 300 base-Twins in length<\/span>. These are widely spread on all Human Chromosomes, and make up less than 5% of the Human DNA.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    SINE repetitive DNA causes many genetic diseases. Transposition, re-arrangements, re-combinations of these sequences can produce mutant phenotypes.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    All DNA in the chromosomes<\/span><\/span><\/span> has to be copied (replicated) and transmitted to daughter cells via mitosis.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Inability to correct errors to the DNA, will result in mutations.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Smart computer systems create models of the nucleotides so that researchers can find variations that can be linked with pathologies and natural phenomena.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    A substance called ‘mutagen’ can alter DNA in living organisms, and thus cause health problems. Some mutagens impact DNA in eggs and sperm, leading to birth defects.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Mutagens such as<\/span><\/span> viruses<\/span><\/a> rely on RNA to carry their genetic material, thus forcing cells to carry out the virus’s intention.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
