Contrary to mtDNA profile testing, nuDNA profile testing for ancestry research or crime investigations, acts like to a ‘fingerprint’, and thus a 100% correct ID parameter.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The mtDNA (mitochondrial<\/span><\/a> DNA) genome has only 16,569 base pairs and is much more tightly packed, than the 3+ billion pairs in the nuDNA (nucleus DNA) genome.

Mutations can steadily accumulate in the 98%-nuDNA<\/span><\/a> part, because they seldom impact bodily functions severely, and are often passed on to succeeding generations. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The ancient mystery schools taught that because of the above, the 98% part<\/span><\/a> of the nuDNA molecule functions only at about 30% efficiency.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From a pure biological perspective, the mtDNA functions at a very high level of efficiency. A mutation will probably cause death, and thus not be passed to subsequent generations. This makes the DNA in mitochondria extremely highly conserved, which means it changes very little over time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
