Meteor like objects have been bouncing off the Sun\u2019s surface, like throwing a flat stone that bounces off the water&#8217;s surface.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"6px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">A full 360\u00b0 rotation of the sun around its axis takes ten days less at its equater than at its poles. Contrary to nuclear Fusion, nuclear Fission is a completely uncontrollable process and therefore universally unacceptable. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><span style=\"6px;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Nuclear fusion produces neutrons, which can initiate fission in traditional nuclear fuel like uranium or plutonium. In a hybrid reactor the core fusion zone consumes energy to heat up the outer fissile blanket, also generating energy.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><em><span style=\"6px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Although more costly than a regular light or heavy water nuclear power plant, <span style=\"color: #ffd700;\">a hybrid reactor plant<\/span> is inherently safer, as the reaction in the fissile blanket would be sub-critical, that is, it won&#8217;t sustain itself. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><em><span style=\"6px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">In an emergency it could simply be stopped in a few seconds by turning off the fusion core, as opposed to using dampening rods in a traditional reactor. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><em style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><span style=\"6px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Another benefit of a hybrid design is much higher efficiencies, because it \u2018burns down\u2019 fissile materials, leaving no radioactive waste. It can even treat spent nuclear fuel from regular reactors.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><span style=\"6px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"color: #ffd700;\">Fast neutron breeders<\/span>, either floating or fixed, such as Russia&#8217;s newest BN reactor, create a closed loop cycle by using a liquid metal heat-transfer agent as coolant. They minimize radioactive waste + expand the range of fuel used.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"6px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span id=\"1415332711903S\" style=\"display: none;\">\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"1415332708678S\" style=\"display: none;\">\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"1415332703543S\" style=\"display: none;\">\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"1415332703262S\" style=\"display: none;\">\u00a0<\/span>Assuming that stars are liquid, red-hot magma, solves the problem of missing mass in the Universe, something we currently call \u2018dark mass\u2019.
