- Pentacene, is an organic hydrocarbon molecule made of 22 carbon atoms and 14 hydrogen atoms arranged in five fused hexagonal benzene rings.
- The Technique: Non-contact atomic force microscopy. Rather than using light or lenses, scientists attached a single carbon monoxide (CO) molecule to the ultra-sharp metal tip of the microscope.
- How It Works: As the CO-tipped probe hovers just an angstrom above the molecule at near-absolute zero (5K) in an ultra-high vacuum, it measures minute quantum mechanical forces (Pauli repulsion). This maps out the actual physical backbone and chemical bonds rather than an artist’s rendering or computer simulation.
The above patterns, 6+1 (red), or 12+1 (L-blue), or 18+1 (D-blue), or 24+1 (red), totaling 61 circles, could be reduced to a single circle+eye in the center of this FrOL: the eye+sphere of the consciousness of the Creator of all that is.
