Golden Mean Division
The Golden Mean Division is such a division of something that the ratio of the smaller part to the larger part is the same as the ratio of the larger part to the whole. The sides of a golden main rectangle or GMR relate to each other in this way.

Double square:

L(diagonal) + Side(square) = Ø x (Side x 2)
The ratio itself is called PHI, Ø, or ![]()
In algebra it is an
irrational and transcendental number.
It is .618.. or 1.618…etc. (infinite).
In sacred geometry it is the most rational number. Thus the most sublime paradox! See our DNA helix below:

Many substances develop according to this ‘golden’ ratio, as this ratio places items in 3D space in the most efficient way. Atoms are positioned this way in our superbly-compacted DNA. It is thus a ratio that transcends our known reality.

The 2 helices of our B-DNA molecule are in a golden mean relationship.
Golden mean proportion is everywhere in our DNA and Dodecahedron,
thus Dodecahedrons are the geometric scaffolding for our DNA.
