R-brain awake 24/7?

Reptiles lack an “unconscious or dream state”, as they are in an awaking state 24/7.

Thus, the reptilian part of our brains is also awake 24/7, and controls our “sleep and dream state”, when the left hemisphere is “relaxing & house cleaning”.

Chemicals released by the neo-cortex repress the lower brain reptilian part during our waking hours. However, it is still functioning like “an invisible hand”.

But, the reptilian brain is not satisfied with being relegated to the “night watch” of an inert body. It wants to feel alive and be appreciated all the time.

The reptilian brain is a powerful source of human behavior, because it is hidden. It is deceptive, and is kept secret from our conscious mind.

But we do know it emotionally and intuitively. It is like the slithering serpent in the darkness! It is operating in the unconscious part of our psyche and appears to communicate with the reptilian brain part of other people telepathically.
