Non Reversed Mirror
In a standard mirror you look with your right eye to your right eye, and with your left eye to your left eye. Note, no-body in the world communicates like that to another being!
You look at another with your right eye to their left eye, and left eye to right eye. That’s what you see in a NON-Reversed Image (NRI) mirror, like the Jester or Fool in the mirror-card below. He sees himself as everyone else sees him.
This NRI mirror authenticates the image and expressions the way you are seen by everyone else. In contrast, the untrue view seen in a traditional mirror can be major source of self-doubt and self-criticism, because it is the “false you”. How can you understand your emotions and expressions when there is such a distortion?
Try to put on make-up in a “normal” mirror and then check it in the NRI mirror. Shocked? Now you know why some woman’s make-up or what she is wearing looks weird. She cannot see herself the way you and I see her!
A NRI mirror appears to be NOT critical and you truly realize that what you see is ONLY an image of your body! You really feel dis-identified from it ! It’s a very beautiful look.
Try this for 1 day: Cover up your mirrors. Use them only if you really have to. Watch what happens, if you don’t give this false reflection any time, energy, or attention! Notice how often some part of you wants to look at itself…
