Basic Unit of Life?
To be alive, an organism must replicate and be subjected to natural selection pressures. This requires the capacity to take information acquired over generations and store it in memory, for purpose of survival.
Synthetically made replication molecules, XNA’s, can pass genes on to their descendants and are thus capable of evolution. X stands for Xeno, which means ‘foreign’. It has its own specific enzymes, that DNA would not recognize.
Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA). nuDNA is a molecule found in almost all human cells’ nuclei. Stretched out (≈2 meters), it is the longest molecule in the body.
The specific sequence of nucleotides of about 2% of this DNA molecule contains all the info-code for producing all basic blocks, the proteins, to build all the body’s cells.
Almost 98% of this molecule acts as the moment-to-moment manual and ‘radio’ operating system for living life, sending + receiving information 24/7 to & from everywhere in the cosmos.
It can repair and heal itself, and improve the structure of the water molecules that comprise 70% of your body’s contents. R&D showed that it improves yr state of health.
The nucleic acids DNA & RNA, in each cell, are polymers that can be broken down into monomers known as nucleotides. Each nucleotide contains 3 components: a sugar, an amine, and a phosphate, as shown in the figure below.
