Remove the suffering of someone else?

Have you ever tried to prevent someone from suffering? Is there someone you know, who ignores what’s best for them, and seems to get almost angry when you suggest a way to avoid/end their suffering?

Is there someone you know who has a 1000 excuses and justifications for continuing to suffer? Most of us know at least one individual who clings to their identity as a sufferer, as if their life depended on it.

Whenever you spot these behaviors in yourself, remember that there are people who think of you in this way, too…
