Attention Allocation Efficiencies #I

Attention Allocation Efficiency (AAE) is the degree to which people allocate their quantum Attention energy beam to the “right” places at the “right” time.

Attention Efficiency Ratio (AER) is the ratio between useful, valuable, or effective output to the total Attention energy input into any system or systems. Questions are:

  • can I delegate the processing of certain information?
  • How urgent is the info in relationship to the rest?
  • Do I have to do it Now or can it wait till Later?

Assigning task priorities is a critical part of Attention Allocation. It involves:

(a) discovering how someone prioritizes tasks,

  • which parameters are used?
    1. The ones detailed in the job-description?
    2. The ones just issued by a superior?
    3. Doing others a favor?
  • do they each time ask themselves:
    1. Why Now?
    2. What’s the purpose?
    3. Is it relevant to my work?
    4. How much time will it take?
    5. Do I feel resistance to doing this?
    6. What will I do to resolve that? Use the c2C?
    7. How will be its effect on other important tasks?

(b) verifying if tasks that should be done by others are indeed delegated,

(c) helping others focus their quantum Attention bits on tasks with the highest priority.

  • develop reliable alarming systems,
  • structure the Attention Allocation process,
  • raise the level of work-automation to the maximum,
  • aim for moderate workload levels, often resulting in optimum performances,

The ability to measure AAE is a critical component of designing good workflow. These metrics include:

  • costs of task switching,
  • the frequency of task switching,
  • wait times because of poor situation organization.

  • Hydrophilic Interactions

Hydrophilic interactions are interactions between water and other molecules. The molecules’ charged parts are attracted to the charges within the water molecule. The picture below shows a glucose molecule in solution. The water molecules surrounding it are shown in blue color. Glucose molecules have hydroxyl (OH–) groups which attract water. When sugar is in a…
