Freeze in Fear?

Did you ever leave a ‘freeze in fear’ situation, and later thinking “I should have said or done this or that”?

This “replay” of a trauma is a clue that the body is storing an image, for the purpose of replaying the drama later in order to complete the process of trauma discharge.

Most of us have been traumatized more than once, not only soldiers or victims of abuse. The sources of trauma are wide-ranging and often hidden from our awareness.

They include exposure to threats of violence, bullying, accidents, addictions, illnesses, sudden loss of any kind, surgical and other medical procedures, pregnancy stress, difficult births, besides any form of natural disaster.
