Are the programs running you ?

The incessant mental chatter prevents you from connecting with your inner stillness: the pure awareness which is inseparable from being, and which is the background space in which words become thoughts. Mental chatter also creates a false mind-made self that casts a shadow of fear and suffering, often to the point of “insanity”.

It creates an opaque screen of concepts, labels, images, words, judgments, and definitions that block a true relationship with yourself, your Creator, nature and others.

This illusion of separateness is created by your mind-set that uses you 24/7. The “programs” are running you, rather than the other way around. You might mistake the possessing mind-entities to be you. To refer to the insanity analogy, “the inmates are in charge of the asylum“.

The good news? You can free yourself from being possessed by those programs. This is the true liberation. Observe the voices in your head, particularly those that return regularly: entities running those old programs over and over again.
