Information + Knowledge?
Today’s imbalance between all the incoming information and the time available for processing has become a WW problem. We are all info+knowledge providers.
Many people process information for a living. The production of info+knowledge and the effective allocation of their Attention particles is all they have to offer. Therefore AI is doing most of it now.
From a viewpoint of Attention energy misuse in organizations, policies need to emerge to:
- not waste someone else’s Attention unnecessarily,
- limit the amount of work-time spent on personal Internet issues,
- allocate certain office hours free from viewing email and phone calls,
- determine how much of ‘off-work Attention’ should be devoted to emails,
- determine which information takes priority over what other information.
It is essentially about giving away anything that costs nearly nothing to duplicate, and earn income from one or more related substance products or services.
Fremium means a free + a premium version. The latter requires payment. We compete for the bits of Attention energy of others and extend gifts to get it.
