A Simple Message!

Key is to develop a simple message that gets Attention because it encapsulates many important ideas. Information-designs have to be clear and attention getting, such as geo-forms, and color. The best are concise, relevant messages from a trusted source that evokes emotions.

It should be a graphic representation of relationships between different pieces of content. Most people have a limited capacity to assimilate information. If presented too rapidly or without enough repetition, the max will be reached and the flow of communication will break down.

People will use Attention-protecting devices to not have to think, reflect, and consider the implications of all the info they receive.

How can we help them free up Attention bits so that more are allocated to us? People prefer a personalized message, meaning relevant or amusing for the receiver.

Giving stuff away speeds up the spread and fame, which is reputation, a scarce social capital, which can be exchanged as units for cash, like speaker fees.

In this new economy “no price” does not mean “no value”, as in the old economy. Since we can pay only a certain amount of Attention energy to something, it has value as a currency.

Reputational currency is “credibility”, which can be earned quickly when applying the QBC techniques.
